Nature of Archipelago

Nature is not stingy in the gifts to the archipelago - the high majestic mountains, deep gorges, basalt cliffs, beautiful beaches, fertile valleys, exotic tropical vegetation... The golden sand of the shore beaches sparkles in the sun and the snow-white foam of the sea sets off the crystal clear turquoise water. Huge blue-green waves break on the sunny beaches framed by palm trees, while in the depths of the islands the steep mountain slopes covered with thick green hide in the mysterious white clouds covering the summit. This is the Garden of Eden which has everything - from the enchanting waterfalls and green canyons to the rare instances of flora and fauna. And all this is accompanied by a unique climate - hot, but very healthy, always with an even temperature and clear skies... Fauna of the islands is very original and unique. There is the most famous Hawaiian monk seal (now rare), Hawaiian Thrush, Hawaiian hawk and the Hawaiian goose among the animals.
More than half of the national park (an array of slopes of Kilauea and Mauna Loa) is covered with wet tropical forests, shrubs and herbaceous vegetation. And more than 90% (about 2500 species) of plants are endemic species (that is peculiar to the Hawaiian Islands). The forests of Ohio trees, acacias, and numerous tree ferns are preserved here. The landscapes Kukupas are original. These are the areas covered with herbs and groups of trees, surrounded by, but not damaged by lava flows. And along one of the coasts of the island is altogether surprising for a tropical climate, natural landmark - Desert Cow.
This "gold medal on the chest of the planet” is usually described by guides, pictured by artists and, despite its remoteness, drown by vast number of tourists. However, this "coin" has a "downside" - fascinating and capturing the imagination no less than these idyllic pictures.
